Application Description
Cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables are produced using chemical or physical methods to transform the linear molecular structure of the cable's polyethylene insulation into a cross-linked network molecular structure, thereby converting thermoplastic polyethylene into thermosetting cross-linked polyethylene. This significantly enhances its heat resistance and mechanical properties, reduces its shrinkage, prevents it from melting when heated, and maintains excellent electrical performance.

Application Scope
System: This product is suitable for fixed installation in power distribution networks or industrial facilities with an AC frequency of 50 Hz and a rated voltage of 3 to 35 kV.
Applications: Used in underground power grids of urban residential areas, feeder lines of power plants and substations, and for power transmission and distribution. For example, it can be used in power distribution facilities within industrial and mining enterprises.
Operating Characteristics
Rated Voltage: The rated voltage is 3 to 35 kV.
Operating Temperature: The maximum allowable operating temperature of the cable conductor is 90°C. During a short circuit, the maximum temperature of the cable conductor is 250°C, with a duration not exceeding 5 seconds.
Ambient Temperature: The minimum ambient temperature for cable operation is -10°C.
Installation Temperature: During installation, the temperature should not be below 0°C.
Bending Radius:
For single-core cables without armor, the recommended minimum bending radius during installation is 20D.
For single-core cables with armor, the recommended minimum bending radius during installation is 15D.
For three-core cables with armor, the recommended minimum bending radius during installation is 12D.
